Who we are…

Belasco Theatre Company (BTC) is a non-profit all youth musical theatre company that began 32 years ago in Northern California. Now based in Hermosa Beach, California since 2004, our comprehensive training program provides students with an exhilarating theatre experience. Not only do students become skilled in acting, singing and dancing, they are given the opportunity to perform in Broadway-style productions.

In continuing the tradition of providing first-rate entertainment, we plan two excellent and challenging productions to be performed each season at the Hermosa Beach Playhouse, one in February and one in June. BTC is well known in the community for being the only youth theatre company to perform each production a total of twelve performances extending over three weekends. With this opportunity, students truly experience the joys of live theatre and learn by creating magic on stage!
